If I have one major problem, is that i'm a slow worker. Compared to most of the artists I associate with on here, on average, I take about twice as long to produce similar types of content. As such, i've been wanting to do a simple comic series to help me streamline and generally improve my drawing skills. It hasn't been until now that I've actually come up with a workable idea.
Not that any of you would know, but most of my stories tend to be large scale and long-winded socio-political pieces, or very in depth and complex psychological examinations.
This however, is my first concrete and purpose built gag-series. There's not much I can really say about it other than that. Anyway, here's my usual character description section.
------ From left to right
"Glasses" is the nickname for this one. While this comic doesn't necessarily have a main character as such, she comes pretty close. She is completely incompetent in social situations, and is harsh, selfish and unsympathetic towards everyone. She is sort of like the obnoxious self-important people one would often find on the internet, only in real life.
The second character, I've yet to think of a nickname for (maybe i'll call her "Cretin"). She's the twin sister of "Glasses", and is not as brash or annoying as her older sister. That said, she does come across as being dim-witted, and shares her sister's lack of sympathy for others. Despite being twins, (from a set of triplets, actually) they're not close at all, and probably don't even remember each others names. If she has one positive, it's that shes pretty good at running and physical activity.
The third girl i've nicknamed "Curly". While on the surface she is the most amicable and least "socially retarded" among the bunch, she is also the most underhanded and vicious. (Perhaps she'll have some unwarranted arrogance at times too.)
The fourth character. (Actually, I think i'll call her "Lanky". I didn't wanna go with all those -ie sounding names, but i'll deal with it.) (Having thought about her character a bit more, I figured she'd be more of the exasperated type, getting frustrated more often then simply raging, though that might happen occasionally). She does however, make an attempt to be polite most of the time. She likes to put things in order, showing some signs of ocd, unless it comes to her own appearance, where she's a bit of a slob.
The fifth character has the nickname "Shortie", no guesses as to why. She's the most quiet of the five, and like "Curly", she appears to be friendly on the surface. In reality, she is highly spiteful, and oftentimes will actively try to sabotage the efforts of the others. While all of them are spiteful and petty in some way, in her case, her spite can be so intense that it's to her own detriment.
The last character, sometimes referred to as "Overlord" by the girls, is the comic's "villain" in a sense. She's a lazy, disheveled layabout who spends most of her waking time on the computer. She is also a sociopath with a total disregard for both the physical and psychological safety of the girls, and spends the entirety of the comic antagonizing the cast, in addition to encouraging them to do the same to each other. Most of the time she subjects the cast to various ridiculous/impossible competitions, usually resulting in blunt force trauma for the loser (and occasionally the winner, and everyone else too). Her actions become increasingly reckless and extreme as time goes on, seemingly only stopping at what would result in death, and even that is questionable.
------
As you might have realized, all of the characters have been deliberately designed to be unlikeable in some fashion.
I think, since your nicknames seem to be rather obvious things, the fourth character should be nicknamed "Blondie"
